Type 1 (Clause 803)
A fully certified and compliant material combining screened road planings and crushed concrete, producing a highway standard, frost resistant sub-base.
Type 4 Graded Planings
Screened to provide a material which complies with the Specification for Highway Works (SHW), Type 4 gives a 50mm down tarmac material which is ideal for applications such as road repairs, car park installation and maintenance and amenity surfaces such as footpaths.

Produced from a combination of 75mm down crushed concrete, brick and occasional asphalt, this material is widely used as a starter layer or capping to help consolidate ground and make up levels prior to receiving a final sub base layer. In certain applications, this product can be used right up to surface level, depending on construction specification and design.
+40mm Oversize
Produced from a combination of crushed concrete, brick and asphalt, this grade performs exceptionally well where a coarse, free draining, open material is required. This material is popular for use in agricultural applications or where a heavy duty, lower layer is required for base construction, particularly on softer ground.
